What brings me to this post? Why would I write about Hanoi when I am going to be living and working in Cambodia? Well... this blog will be about travel and I am interested in any place SE Asia and then the world. I have a person I follow on Instagram who post a lot about the Old French Quarter in Hanoi and he has brought that whole area alive. I love architecture... probably because I spent a fair amount of time with my father who was a carpenter. I love to look at the way buildings are built, love buildings with age and I love the old French Colonial buildings of SE Asia. So I am going to put links on this post of places I want to visit or places to stay.
